Event Description
- Categories : Solo, teams of 2 and teams of 4 – male, female or co-ed.
- Format : most number of laps completed in 12 hours.
- Registration : 7:00am in number 6 mine park.
- Racing starts at 8am and continues to 8pm.
- Advanced registration is available from 4-10pm at the Riding Fool Hostel in the week leading up to the event.
- Bring your tents, coolers, lounge chairs and more. Cowbells always welcome!

Solo participants in the 12 Hrs of Cumberland will be eligible for an entry to the series draw prize of an entry to the 2011 BC Bike Race.
The 2010 Vancouver Island Cup Mountain Bike Race Series, is BC’s premiere grassroots race series spanning the length of Vancouver Island. Cross Country, Downhill, Super D and Marathon disciplines are brought together from numerous local mountain bike clubs.
If you’re a first timer, seasoned pro or just out to have some fun we would love to see you experience mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island.
Location – Number 6 Mine Park, Cumberland BC

Time : Registration 7am Racing from 8am – 8pm
Fees : $40 per person.
Course : Up Two and Juice, Buggered Pig, Short and Curly,around Alan Lake to Crafty Connector…then Down Middle and Lower Crafty, Black Hole and Space Nugget. Lap point is the Number 6 Mine Park.

Details will be posted shortly, but you can call the Riding Fool Hostel at 250-336-8250 for more information and pre-registration. Typically teams register in the morning before the 8am start.

what gives…. im from the states and i want to come race this event, how the hell do i register, wheres the prices, wheres the cat’s, im confused, please help…. and also , whats the latest on the super D series ? thanX
