Cumberland XC #3 April 11th

Posted on 24 September 2009 by Island Cup

Course Description

The course is a sweet mix of Cumberland old school and a sampling of the new progression.  The course starts in the heart of Cumberland at the #6 Mine Park and quickly makes it way up to Cumberland Classsic’s, Two & a Juice and Buggered Pig.  Following Buggered Pig a climb up to and across the Sykes bridge to the flowy, bermy goodness of Teapot, which slithers you down to the banks of Allen Lake.  After cruising alongside the Lake for a bit you will traverse across to the new classic descent which will take you all the way back to town via Crafty Butcher to Black Hole and then finishing with the cosmic bliss of Space Nugget.  You can do one, two or three laps of this wicked course!
