Course description:
For 2010 we will run the same course as the last 2 years. The course starts at the top of Jelly Roll, through Lumpy pants, a short (but painfull) fire road climb to the top of Who’s yer Daddy, through to Nite Shift, a short fire road descent to the short cut that will drop riders into the Technical training area for the finish.
Expect 90% singletrack and 90% decending but don’t expect to win on a downhill bike. This course is ideal for a 6″ all-mountain bike. Times will range from 9-15 minutes. See if you can beat the course record of 8:35 set by Jeremy Vosberg in 2009.
There are no shuttles! You need to get yourself to the top of the course. The climb will range from 20-30 minutes.
Fees:
There is a $10 race entry fee for all racers.
If you do not have a current cycling BC race licence you will need to buy a one day licence for $10.
Registration:
To save time at registration send us your information online, and you will be able to show up shortly before your race time. Register online here.
If you register online you will be able to pick up your number plate at the Trek Bike Store during the week before the race.
Otherwise we will have a registration booth in the Hartland parking lot from 9-11. You must register at least one hour before your race.
Categories / Start times:
Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. Seperate categories for Men and Women.
Beginners will start at 11, Intermediate will start at approximately 11:30, Experts should start by 12:30. Racers will be sent in one minute intervals.
Start times depend on the number of registered riders in each category.
