Course Description
The course this year is a HammerFest classic combination of mainly old and new single track, a bit of double track and some gravel road grinding. The race will start with a 1.3 km gravel, elevation gaining, road spin to spread the field out. From here the course will follow old school single track trails like Walrus, Brian's Worm, Giddyup and Dead Horses. The flow continues onto Daryl 's trail, NoAl's, Barf Bag and Puddle Lane . These lead onto the recent Outback, old school Burnt Ridge, part of Betty's Bridge to Shake & Bake and then the new Dem Bones and a very short road sprint to the finish. A lot of variation for a fun, 9km with 1000 feet of elevation gain.
1 lap beginners, 2 laps intermediate and 3 laps for the experts!
The race start is very close to the yellow gate that marks the entrance to the HammerFest trails. Vehicle parking will be on Errington Rd close to the yellow gate. Please park off the pavement and close to one another. Also respect the residential driveways in the area. Thanks.
