Experience Card – webpage

The BC Ferries Experience™ Card is an electronic swipe card that can be loaded with money and used to pay for ferry travel on participating routes.

As a BC Ferries Experience™ cardholder, you'll have access to savings on passenger fares OR vehicle and passenger fares on participating routes simply by registering your card and loading it with minimum Stored Value amounts.

For example on the Comox Powell River route, you can save $2.30 each way for a foot passenger and your bike travels for free ($2.00 savings). If you bring a vehicle you save $5.30 each way for it too.

Savings are also applicable on the Denman and Hornby Island routes.

Experience cards can be purchased at most terminals.

Sail Pass – webpage

The SailPass provides a packaged price including return travel from the Lower Mainland to Vancouver Island and unlimited travel on the inter-island ferries. The package is $199 for 4 days and $239 for 7 days. For Mainlanders coming to the Hornby Island Finals this is a great deal.

SailPass prices include two adults and a passenger vehicle up to 7 feet in height and 20 feet in length. Additional adults are $39 each and children 11 and under travel free.
