Location: Parksville, Errington. Englishman Falls Provincial Park AKA Hammerfest Trails

HammerFest 2018 was the first ever SOLD OUT Island Cup Race, sign up quickly!

A feed station and BBQ’d burgers will be provided for racers and volunteers.  There will be extra food  for family and friends available by donation.  Parking will be at a premium so come with a friend, save on gas and help the environment.  Overflow parking will be available outside Englishman River Provincial Park.  Do not park along the road within the park boundaries, you will be towed.


$50 for Adults

$30 for riders 12-18 years old (Use promo code U19)

FREE for riders 11 and younger in the youth category (Use promo code U12)

Rider must have a Valid Cycling BC License, UCI License or pay for a one day license (Please print this form and bring cash to the race for one day)

This race will offer riders one to four stages, with close to 10km and 900 meters of combined descending.  Along with equal amounts of road and trail climbing.  It’s bound to be a fun day!

Race Categories: Expert/Elite (all 4 stages), Intermediate (Stages 2,3,& 4), Beginner ( Stages 3 & 4).  We have a new Youth course this year (Pantyline & Walrus)

Island Cup Series

The 2019 Vancouver Island Cup Mountain Bike Series is BC’s premiere grassroots race series spanning the length of Vancouver Island. Cross Country, Downhill, Enduro and Marathon disciplines are brought together from numerous local mountain bike clubs. If you are a first timer, seasoned pro or just out to have some fun we would love to see you experience mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island.

Island Cup races are sanctioned by Cycling BC.
